I never thought this day would come...I actually got a teaching job!!! Someone trusts me enough to teach the kids about math and science. I am STILL on cloud 9!! How exciting?! I will be teaching 6-8 math and science at a Catholic grade school in KCK, called Our Lady of Unity. How perfect is that for me?!
Im meeting with my old 5-6 grade math and science teacher this evening. She said she is going to give me EVERYTHING she has so I can use some of her tips and tricks in my very own classroom. I have been so excited for this meeting since we set it up last week. Im sure everything will go great and I cant wait to feel so overwhelmed! Haha.
Ive already been wondering if I should consider having animals in my classroom? Granted I wont be given a ton of money to have some high class animals...but should I get a hamster? Maybe have my Grandma stop when she sees a turtle on the road? Ask my cousins for their fish?! So much to think about!!
